Currently…
I am currently a Digital Technology Leadership Associate at Raytheon Technologies working on projects to provide innovative digital solutions to the Raytheon Technologies Corporation. I am a recent graduate of the Human Centered Design and Engineering major at the University of Washington where my strong focus was in User Experience Design and Research.
Focus
A major focus that I want to develop in my career and skillset is creating accessible and sustainable solutions for the world. Creating inclusive spaces for a better world is what drives me in my everyday life, including my work. This is important to me as these components are key in developing products that are inclusive and beneficial for the future.
Passions
Outside of school, I am avid outdoors person. Anywhere from rock climbing and hiking to snowboarding, I express my love and passion for the outdoors. My love for the outdoors is what drives my focus in sustainable design, creating intentional choices in life that help to better the world.
I am also passionate about sharing my experiences in my professional career in tech and engineering and have focused a lot of my time into sharing and creating communities that help others in my steps. Notable experiences I have developed are as a volunteer for Girls Who Code. I also am a mentor for the Washington State Opportunity Scholarship that provides scholarship and career development info to marginalized students who pursue STEM degrees.
My most notable achievement during my time in school was becoming a founder and creating Theta Tau, a professional co-ed engineering fraternity. I wanted to create a community for people to help each other develop their professional skillset in school while also developing a robust camaraderie amongst our members. The fraternity is now in its 3rd year and is nearly 60 members strong.
